About me

Kristy Malone, MS, LMFT, NTP

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Lic #115688 CA

As a practitioner trained in both mental health and functional nutrition, I take a holistic approach to mental health that addresses biological, psychological, and psychosocial factors. Using EMDR and other modalities I help clients heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, navigate life transitions, experience personal growth, and cope effectively with stress.

I absolutely love what I do, and I hope you'll feel that in our work together. It is a privilege to be a therapist, and I value the trust clients place in me. It takes courage to be vulnerable and strength to examine what's painful or uncomfortable. It's important to me to provide a sense of safety and warmth, to be relatable, competent, and include a sense of humor as we navigate this inner work together.

I also take a strengths-based approach to help my clients better understand and utilize their own unique strengths and build resilience for future obstacles. It is my goal that therapy will leave you feeling more confident in yourself, equipped with new tools, and optimistic about the future.

Using my training in EMDR therapy I have successfully treated clients for traumatic events, attachment injuries and adverse childhood experiences, anxiety disorders, and a variety of other issues. It is a powerful and effective treatment modality that can provide lasting results where other treatments may have fallen short.

About my office

Take a break from the stresses of life as you breathe in calming aromatherapy essential oils and relax to the sound of waterfalls and soothing acoustic music. I believe a healing environment is an important part of the therapy process, so I hope you will feel comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful space.

Feel free to take a moment before or after your appointment in the meditative garden courtyard.
